Reporting abuse

We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all our users. Ensuring that our platforms are free from abuse, phishing, and any other harmful activities is a top priority. For guidance on how to report abuse issues, please use the table below.

Child Abuse / CSAM
Adult content depicting minors (someone under the age of 18 years)

Type of abuse:
Fraud
The wrongful deception with the intent to gain a monetary benefit (also known as a scam) or other benefits (i.e., access to personal data)

- Paid invoices or receipts
- Screenshot of the abusive page

Type of abuse:
Malware
Software used to disrupt computer operations, gather sensitive data, or gain access to private computer systems

Notes and advice:
If you clicked on a link or downloaded a file from a suspected quishing email, then you should run a virus check on your computer or phone just to be safe.
Type of abuse:
Phishing
A type of fraud with the intent to acquire sensitive information (usernames, passwords, PINs, credit card or bank account details) using fake websites that are almost identical to legitimate ones
Useful evidence:

- Target of the attack (legitimate website)
- IP address location/nationality (content might be geo-blocked)

Quishing / QR Phishing
Involves attackers creating QR codes to redirect victims into visiting or downloading malicious content with the intent to acquire sensitive information

Reporting Abuse

If you encounter any form of abuse from our services, we encourage you to report it immediately. We have a dedicated team that handles abuse reports and ensures that appropriate actions are taken. Complaints can be emailed to abuse(at)open-xchange.com with a detailed description of the issue. Please include any evidence that may assist in the investigation.
